your site is down but pingdevice is back up, they have a much better process now..
Sorry about the downtime.
We're back up.
PingDevice does have a nice process, it's the same as ours
But PingDevice doesn't let you pick which servers to ping or ping an rss feed.
We're temporarily down because of server upgrades
If you see this and pingfarm is down, that's why
I use this site all the time now, its been about a month of use and still no complaints, thanks for the service razzy!!
You're very welcome
thanks, will try this one out
We are now back up and running again on some even bigger servers
You all are pinging champs!!!
lol, even though we were down for most of the day while we set up bigger servers, you all still pinged over 1,000,000 URLs today
You guys and girls Rock!
Just wanna say thanks you.. I really like your site...
I have to say that your service rocks!
I've used it for a couple hundred URLs and it is very fast, reliable and definitely a good service. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I'd have a question: in your opinion is there any benefit of multiple pinging of the same URLs, in a matter of month or so? For example, today I ping 200 URLs, then next month I will ping the same URLs again... is that to be avoided OR it can benefit to "accelerate" URLs caching?
Many thanks again for the service!
Thank You and You're Welcome
As for pinging the same URLs multiple times. If the URLs are already indexed then there isn't a need to ping them unless the page has been updated.
And if you're pinging pages where your backlinks are most of the time we don't go back to edit the pages so there isn't really a need to re-ping them
I'm glad you like PingFarm
Thanks, your explanation is very clear
I forgot to add that if the pages where your backlinks are at are not indexed after pinging then wait a week and re-ping them
That is the only reason you would need to re-ping the pages
