Put simply, Ping.fm is a status update tool that sends your updates to a handful of your favorite microblogging services. So far, Ping.fm supports Twitter, Facebook, Jaiku, Tumblr and Pownce. The concept is one that will catch on like wildfire in the coming months, and the options for submitting an update come in the form of email, IM, its Google gadget, and a desktop application. Though Ping.fm is still a simple service that's easy to use, I think a more fluid registration process for assigning various services (and even supporting multiple accounts for a given service) could make the setup process even easier. Be forewarned, you'll need to add the Ping.fm Facebook application in order to send updates to Facebook via Ping.fm. Making an update on Ping.fm pushes the update to a number of different social websites at once. This allows individuals using multiple social networks to update their status only once, without having to update it in all their social mediums individually. Ping.fm groups services into three categories - status updates, blogs, and micro-blogs - and updates can be sent to each group separately. A user can configure his or her Ping.fm account to aggregate content to the following services: Code: Bebo Blogger Brightkite Custom URL Delicious Facebook FriendFeed Friendster hi5 Identi.ca Jaiku Kwippy Koornk LinkedIn LiveJournal Mashable MySpace Plaxo Plurk Pownce Rejaw Tumblr Twitter WordPress.com Xanga Yahoo 360 Diigo Multiply YouAre Site : Code: http://www.ping.fm Keep Posting and Get U.V Everyday !
