Guys, i had good experience with just 1 long anchor : phrase match + brand name. No exact.

My question : Is making backlinks with phrase matches as safe as using generics/URLs/brand?

That is a great question. I openly admit that I see the results vary from one niche to another, but it is common that I find statistical correlation for leading matches over exact matches. Where a leading match is having content like titles and headings start with the keyword match but continue to have content beyond just the match itself. I am still a fan of exact matches. I personally have not seen or measured data that indicates they are bad, and I have actively looked for that. Leading matches would be my #2.

At the moment I am having 38% of exact matches in my website's anchor portfolio and trying to decide now - how to spread anchors between my next 50 PBN posts, which I am going to purchase this week.
