    A search for:
"phytopharm hoodia gordonii" (with the quotes)

    outputs 715,000 results for me

and search for the same but without quotes:
    phytopharm hoodia gordonii

    gives 231,000 results

so, the phrase match finds much more results than the broad match.
    How's that possible?
I see it happens with quite few keyword phrases i've been researching lately.

Could be very misleading since you can miss to research further some phrases since the exact match search outputted way to many results...when infact they might be less, since the broad match might be the right one...huh im confused...any ideas?

It's just a misrepresentation of data. Type in "phytopharm hoodia gordonii" then go through the pages. You'll see that there are only 25 pages of results after you include the omitted results.
