.php re-direct hurt page rank?

    question, if i built a blog for the sole purpose of page rank, and have my re-direct as the page i really want my visitors to view, will that hurt my rank? so blog-offer is the question

    I don't think I'm following you 100%
    You are going to build a blog and get links to increase it's pagerank then redirect visitors to the blog to your landing page?
    Sounds like Search Engine cloaking to me and it will hurt you.

    As I understand OP wants to build a high PR blog then make 301 to the target domain.
    In this situation not all the link juice will go to the new domain. Remember that for the best results the content on both domain have to be from the same niche.

    as long as it's 301 it would be OK

    that does not work any longer. I did it with one of my sites recently which was a PR5. Within a week the PR was removed and the other site de-indexed. The bots can pickup a redirect.

    The ONLY legit way now is to do it via webmaster tools.
