I'm trying to find a way to put a phpinclude into a WP non-hosted blog. I'm basically trying to call a database with the code.

I know there are ways (i.e. plugins) to do it if it's my blog but, being that this blog is a parasite MU blog(not mine), I don't have access to the code and can't change the theme or add a plugin.

I've been digging for a couple hours and nothing...Any ideas??

if your using openads tracking there is no need just make a zone for your mu blogs and use that code. If your doing something different I have no idea.

i don't think you can - i think you have to be on the same server to access a db, and it would be pretty unusual to see a parasite host that allows php scripting on their page...

I don't believe you have to be on the same server to access the db, you just need an absolute URL in the include. As far as the php piece, I don't think it's as much of an issue with the blog host as much as the base architecture of WP that doesn't allow it. I'm sure there's some sort of workaround I just haven't found it yet.
