    Hi there,

Do you know how to make pictures that look like

    1. torn off pieces of paper
    2. framed pics that are a bit rotated (like Polaroid print outs)?

    For (1) examples see
    Code:
    mysoftwarebusiness.net
    For (2) examples see
    Code:

use a texture for a torn paper.. its easier that way.. just put an image of a torn paper and set the mode to screen or whatever suits ur need

press ctrl+t and ull get the handles on the image jus rotate it or resize it whatever.

    hope it helps.

    ----

    wait sorry

for torn up look like that...
    i
would use the pen tool.. just set anchor points like the paper rip.. and fill it with color..
then put whatever on it u want to

or use the seceltion or marquee tool dun exactly remember the name.. and jus go crazy with it where u want the rip then cut it out

for the second method jus use the same thing iv said it will help u rotate the images.

Here are a couple of good tutorials for the "torn paper" effect:

    Code:
    http://www.entheosweb.com/photoshop/tornedge.asp
    http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/ps_tornedges-intermediate.shtml

    And for the "Polaroid" effect:

    Code:
    http://www.myinkblog.com/create-a-vintage-polaroid-effect/
    http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/create-a-polaroid-effect-of-your-photo/

If you want it to be at an angle, just rotate the finished image to the desired angle.

    For torn paper try this
    Code:

For the polaroid, this is easy, assuming you can use basic photoshop functions? Create white box, add image, add handwriting text, add drop shadow to white box, rotate all. But, if u can't do that, just use this free action
    Code:
    http://www.addictedtodesign.com/free%20actions/zip%20files/(A2D)_Polaroid_600_V2.zip
