No, your scanner is. I believe you have to have a high quality, high DPI. Like a nice Xerox. But, even if you did most high-end printers will just add tracking dots to suspected forgery prints.

Thats a myth, There is nothing that makes printer companies have to scan to see if they are fogeries, i have extensive printing background and have worked with some of the biggest CMYK and offset printers doing book covers and such, these machines use simple text files for their postscripts which would not be able to detect any such thing if it were a dollar bill or a scan of my fat ass.
