I live in Canada and I've seen people reselling hundreds and hundreds of Fido and Rogers SIM cards on ebay / craigslist /kijiji etc.

I am just wondering where the heck did they get them from? How did they get so many? I doubt fido/rogers wholesale SIM cards to these unknown sellers.


Please advise.

Probably get a discount and then they sell them for profit

There is actually a way to buy SIM cards for a few bucks each and activate them totally free of cost and have unlimited texting and calling. I don't know if that is what you are referring to.

I'm sure he does, but I doubt you'll find it being shared for free, especially when the info is being sold on another forum for $500-1000.

so sim cards from ebay/classified sites were most likely obtained using this shady method? i.e. it's best not to buy them, right?

They do for a brief period dont forget its illegal as hell

This conversation is now totally off-topic. I was asking where people got so many SIM cards LOL.

Btw, the unlimited txt/calling/everything only applies to T-mobile sim cards. I've never seen one from other providers
