So for a while I've had a personal blog that I write about my projects that I either am currently working on or have worked on in the past and sometimes a break down of a popular programming algorithm and in the last 2 months my impressions have almost tripled.
Which honestly sounds like a good problem to have but I feel kinda weird about it cause i only made it to show to potential employers so I could be like hey here is the types of things I make. I don't even monetize this site. 0 ads. 0 affiliate links. nothing. The only reason i even know the view ship data is the service i use to host it tracks it.
Now i feel like i should monetize it but i also feel like that betrays the intention of what its meant to be.

Programming niche, 30k UUs (assuming it's tier 1 based) will net you around $600 per month (pure AdSense)

then what's the best way to profit from this kind of traffic ?
ads. What I am questioning here is the RPM. 30k users and $100 rev, means your ePMV is at $3, which is a joke.
With some basic optimization, you can get it up to $15 in the programming niche, with tier 1 traffic.
