Just wanted to update this thread and say that verifications are back up and working but there are many niches/categories that Google has banned.

Stuff that is regarded as a mobile business like delivery, hvac, loan agency etc. is not going to work.

This has to be a brick and mortar category. You'll be able to find workaround categories for some businesses, you just need to be creative.
