My wordpress site crashed a couple of days ago with an internal server error 500.
My hosting company uploaded a backup they had.
I then had 404 and 403 errors.
I deleted my htaccess file and set my permalink settings to default and my site was back up
But I cant change my settings back from the default permalink settings without every part of my site crashing again, admin and front end.
I previously set my permalink settings to post name.
Would this have caused my site to crash in the first place
