Dunno if you all know this so i thought i'd share my experiences.

Had a cash cow website at no1 for same term on Google, Bing and Yahoo for 3+ years. Then panda / penguin hit me! Site dropped to 6 then 10 then off page 1. Not good!

My anchor texts were over optimized for my money k/w so i set about fixing it, except I've taken a slightly different tactic and it's worked.

I bought a related domain, aged and with related anchor text profile but slightly different targeted k/w. I 301's my old, Panda / Penguin hit sit to my newly bought site and waited.

My newly built site has shot to no1 for my old money term where it's stayed solid for the past month now. It feels like between the two sites i now have a fairly diluted anchor text spread and that has pushed me out of any algo penalties.

So ye, if your looking for a painless way out of Panda / Penguin and you have access to a related site with a slightly different k/w optimization to dilute everything down it works and seems pretty permanent so far.

This has been covered a few times over the past few days and I'm not sure why people are suddenly realising this as I have used this for ages now and i presumed everyone else was too.

    Thanks anyway
