It looks like Google will not hit some brand new sites below 4 months old or something similar, they just hit old sites above 6 months old to 3 years old randomly, I think there is a reason here, the sites older than 6 months old make enough money and know more about their niche and will be more likely to invest in adwords. That's why they give chances to new sites, they leave them enough time to grow bigger, because the traffic is the same and if the same amount of websites get free traffic, no one will advertise and throw money in adwords, their financial report will not look good hence their stock price will drop.

So I think such algorithm change is just to raise new small sites to middle sites or bigger sites and kill them and make them investing adwords.

I believe penguin has to collect data before it turns on. a new site seems to avoid it.

For churn and burn this update has been good :) No authority sites to compete with.

This is a really sick game Google has started. Building links from the scratch for a new website every time they roll out a new update is just so painful.

That's not true..My site was registered just 2 months back and was ranking for lots of terms in short time(Used churn and burn method) and it got hit. Although I found that the site which are still sticking have very few high quality links and using good articles in tier 1

That is incorrect. Google will not hit ANY sites that are younger than 3 months, 2 weeks and 1 day. It will randomly hit sites that are older than 3 months, 2 weeks and 2 days. And it will kick the shit out of sites that are older than 2 years, 5 months, 3 weeks and 6 days old.

Seriously, are you fucking shitting me?!?!?

Wrong... If not all, most of the affected site for penguin update are those thin spammy and poorly SEO'ed site.
As a result, authority sites take over. e.g. wikipedia, amazon, youtube, even yahoo answers, for health niche, webmd and other authority sites shot up. if these sites are not authority for you, I don't know what is.

Anyway, For churn and burn sites, this is still good, since most of the time, these pages from authority sites that took over, hasn't been promoted through SEO and you can find pages with 1-10 backlinks (anchors not even the keyword it is ranking) that is occupying 1-3 in google.

Then wait for the next algo update. :)

According to my observation, I see those young sites which are not ranked very well for some keywords are not getting hits, I mean they are started to rank slowly. Of course not using the comments spam or any other kind of spamming, using articles to post on 3rd platforms etc.

Penguin update I think happens to all websites. :D
People just don't think to new ones maybe cause they are adding more content to the new ones vs the old ones.
