Ive been just lurking the last few months and im fairly confident with scrapebox etc now and use it on various sites no worries.

My issue though is I have recently made a website for my self for a more local project im doing. It was ranking for my main search term as number one and also 2-3 for other search terms (it had only been there for 3 days or so when i did a blast and before that i only just selected those keywords a day before that)

anyway, i decided to run a blast on the site and only did about 400-500 good pr websites with about 10 keyword sets in the name but to the root site.

Anyway the main index page of the site is dancing like crazy for all search terms but my sub pages are still ranking page one etc. I checked and the main index page was page 3 or 4 for my main keyword from position one. Its been like this for two days now.

Will it most likely pick back up? 500 links isnt much but i was concerned as this has never happened to me before over something this minor.

Should I continue building links gradually to it? a few hundred a day maybe to make it look more natural.

thanks for any advice you can give.

just keep building - a few days is nothing and probably G just re-aligning your position in the SERPS, if you stop then start you are more likely to make your site backlinking look false, if you have set a figure stick to it and it will retain its natural look.

Its very common to dance like that especially on newer sites. Keep building links, if you stop now then it will look unnatural.

You should level out and come back stronger in a little bit.

Maybe you could wait for 3 or 4 days until your site is re-cached. After that check the key-word again, if it hasn't made it back to the top, then you'll have to try and figure something else out.

A month ago I made a test, registered a .blogspot.com blog. made a simpe page, and blasted it with 10 000 scrapebox links, I used about 10 keywords, all to one page.
All links have been built in 1 day, and not one after that.

After 30 days, yahoo site explorer is showing almost all links, first page on google for not so hard keyword. all looks good :)

Still it is a subpage of blogspot.com, but this is perfect for linkwheel or anything similar.

It's a small blast so it should not give you to much trouble. Keep making backlinks, but try to get links from other sources than SB (edu, gov, forum, bookmark etc.). New content will also help you to stabilize your site.
