Hi guys, my PC stat is i5 (4th generation) and 8GB RAM and SATA hard. But after rendering videos with After effects, it becomes slow and eats RAM. How should i upgrade my PC to use after effects with speedy rendering? Also i have on-board graphic card. Does graphic card improve after effects speed? Also should i buy SSD hard, does it matter? What else should i know? Thank you

What do you mean? You render (=export) the video and AFTER that your computer is getting slow and eats RAM?

I'd say upgrade to 16GB Ram and get a new processor.

8gb of ram is enough for the job. It's your processor that is slowing it down get an i7 6600k and you're good to go.

Have you enabled multi threading? It should significantly speed up your render times.

Get an SSD and increase processing power. 8gb ram should be okay. If you have the funds, crank it up to 16gb for the hell of it but you shouldn't need to.

There is no option Multiprocessing in memory settings. I have CC 2015 version.

Minimum requirements? I don't know what fancy After Effects version you're running.
