    Hey guys,

So I know the general rule of thumb is that, if you check a domain on the wayback archive and it's been used for chinese/pharma/other IM uses before, disregard it. However, all the best domains I seem to be finding have this sort of history. These sites have great CF/TF and a decent (non spammy/pharma) backlink profile.

I'm wondering, if I re-purpose the domain, but make it feature content that is in the same niche as what the original domain was for - do you think Google would consider that it's been repurposed for use as a legitimate site, not just as a PBN? I'd make sure the backlink profile doesn't feature any bad backlinks first, of course.

    Cheers

Why risk wasting time if it doesn't work when you can simply choose clean domains that were never pharma/crap? Even if you can cleanse it with the original niche it *could* take many months of regular content posts before it works. This wastes time/money/content.

IM domains can be fucked to death in the history instead go with domain which had companies in it.

Because these are the only domains that I am finding atm, unfortunately. I'm using my own script to find them.

    I'm using these metrics:

    ≥10 referring domains
    ≤250 referring domains
    TF≥10
    Trust Ratio > 0.8

Maybe I need to relax them, make trust ratio over 0.5 or something

Are you scraping the domains from an expired domain service or crawling site to site or pulling from Google then crawling? Umm not sure about TF not something I've plugged into my crawler sorry, but I might now just to see what I find :)

Crawling from google based on keywords - not using a domain service. Is your script using expireddomains or something?

I have two, one uses Google the other just starts from some seed sites. Both give similar results. Maybe your keywords are particularly attractive to black hats?

Also don't use domains that have been related to Charlie Boy.

With the new generic domains you've got infinite options and prices oughta drop for older domains in the future. So why risk wasting months of your time with a domain that's previously penalized?

Thanks that is good to know. I'm tempted to experiment with a few myself. This is really the point of my question - does anyone have any experience, positive or negative, of using these types of domains?
