PBN vs Guestposts?

hey i spent over $5000 on outreach guest posts last year.

0 traffic from them, some slight ranking jumps... but overall not good value.

Where did you buy these at / from ?

I consider guest posts better for ranking and don't expect an increase as such in traffic.

I do wonder sometimes if people are expecting the guest posts to be on the first page of Huff Post or Forbes or something ?

Yes, you are right. The only difference between the Guest posts and Real guest posts is the Price, quality of blogs and its metrics.

Now-a-days both PBN and Guest posts look like a same in-terms of quality as well as Results.

The only things you have to consider is your budget. If you have good budget, then go for Real Guest posts ($$$) whereas if you have limited budget then i would suggest to go PBN or Guest posts (which cost you $$).

Real guest posts from real sites with traffic

Upwork / BHW mate.

this are some i have Huff, engadget, buzzfeeds, forbes, examine, lifehack etc etc

To cut the prices a little for the guest posts use this method:

1. Subscribe to every newsletter, related to your niche, from the sites you want guest posts. Use the mail: [email protected] or something like that, you get the point - make it look serious.

2. Respond to every newsletter you get with something like "Great post, as always, I love this newsletter. Keep the good work!!! I have shared it on twitter and facebook, *link*" (You can colour it a little)

3. After responding for a month to every newsletter it's time to try and get your link up there. "Hello, again very useful post! By the way, I have just finished an article, related to this post, mind sharing it on the website - I am pretty sure it will benefit your readers even more."

Note: Since few subscribers are responding to these newsletters your emails won't be unnoticed - you will get their attention for sure. The more chatty you get with them the better.

For long term projects, use the guest post to build links. Usually, it helps to rank well and good for rank stability. For short term projects like churn burn, you can use PBN to build links. It will show sudden results as you expect, may be. ;)

I agree with alot of the recommendations, IMO I'd buy PBN links for the big impact but I'd also do guest posts with scrapebox with Google proxies. The point is to rank fast but also diversfiy your links. I'm not sure what the ratio is or if it matters to much but it looks real bad when ur website has 100% follow links at least visually.

Go with PBN if you are an affiliate site but if you are after long term strategy, you go with natural guest posts.
