    Hi all

I pointed my small 12 site PBN to a friend's website to basically improve her rankings for a certain keyword. I was doing some other work on my laptop today and totally by chance noticed that my two PBN websites were ranking much higher than her own website for her two main keywords In fact the difference is so much my websites are ranking on page 2 and her's is on 6th page! I am really confused why this is happening because my two PBN pages that are ranking for this have two links to her website and yet!

Btw her website has few issues with onsite SEO. Some which she will resolve like elaborate product descriptions. She just has 3 line description for her products and are shared by several products across the website. However some issues are just very difficult to get rid of like 10 different products that are just different because of their colours...I know there can be ways around it and am looking into it. But I have realized that doing SEO on an e-commerce is really much difficult than doing it on a normal blog/website etc. Could there be any other reasons for this other than her onsite SEO?

    Thanks.

    Home Page:
I once sent 15 PBN links from my network to my main site and 8 of them ranked on the front page with my main domain, 2 of them outranked it as well.

So technically there are 2 possibilities.

    1) Your PBN domains are more powerful than the original domain
    2) Your PBNd domains/pages have much stronger onpage SEO

So what you should do is fix your onpage SEO and keep building links.. eventually it should go back to normal.
If they are ranking for a brand name then make sure to do some "ORM" and you should get it fixed too.

For now you have these options:
Edit your PBN posts (the ones that are ranking) and rewrite them as god sales posts, so that any visitor to those posts go to your client site.

    Or
use no index tag for those posts and get them out of google databse. i am not sure if doing this will pass any juice to your clisnt's website. But atleast money site will have few less competitors.

    Or
301 the whole PBN domain to your client's website.

That happens because you have optimized your article on the PBN for the keywords. Just keep the article relevant but it should have different keywords than the one in anchor link pointing to your money website.

    Thanks all!

Lol your case is even funnier and stranger than mine! I think I will first fix her onpage SEO and keep building links.

If things don't improve, I will probably do this.

Looking in detail into this, I can see this being the main reason. Those articles are highly optimized...much more than her onpage SEO!

    No...why would I do that :)

Is the money site fairly new? Could be a sandbox issue.

That was my initial suspicion but I found that website was launched in early Feb...so I dont think its a sandbox thing.
