    myfault,

Actually we don't pay too much attention to these pages on PBN domains these days. It's a mashup of various privacy policies and we try to keep it unique for every site.

    Alex

    Accelerator,

We currently have over 2k domains already, spread across serveral networks. We actually use Microsoft's OneDrive and their Excel Spreadsheets. Our VAs handle that. It's not that big of a problem as long as you get expiration notifications set up properly and also list the expiration date for every domain so that your VA knows when to renew them.

    Alex

    jutimanto,

Yeah, but just for low competition keywords. We once got all SERP results on page 2,3,4 just our PBN posts. Had to remove them all to avoid competitors reporting them lol

PBN posts ranking means the expired domain is powerful. I don't know how to lower the rank other than remove your main keyword from title or just delete the post as a whole if it's producing too much noise and you risk getting the domain reported by someone.

    Alex

    jamie3000,

Moz's DA/PA are only worth it if the links are decent. We usually take most clean domains above DA15-20 that have a decent backlink profile with at least 70% incoming ******** links and at least several PR links. I'll always take a domain that has let's say 1 (PR5), 2 (PR3) and 2 (PR2) links even if the DA is 14. The main reason you can't blindly trust all these metrics is simply because all these companies Majestic, Ahrefs, Moz they do index links differently for domains.

In my experience, Ahrefs shows the most links, then comes Majestic and then Moz.

Moz will be able to list a high DA metric for a domain only if it sees all links. I've found domains with great authority ******** PR links listed by Ahrefs, indexed in Google, but not in Moz. How can I trust their 14 DA then?

Just use common sense when getting domains.

RE: keeping the costs/maintenance hassle down initially

You could water down by using other link types, but we usually either buy sites with existing link profiles or work with clients that already have pretty diversified and natural link profiles. We don't bother building any other type of links besides PBN links. We also don't keyword anchor every single PBN link. A batch of 10 pumper links will have 1 exact, 3 partials, 2 brand, 2 naked, 1 lsi and 1 generic.

    Alex

    Hello Alex!

I was wondering how do you block all majestic/moz/ahrefs bots on JOOMLA? httacces/plugins? I use Joomla sometimes in order to diversify my pbn (using wordpress mainly) Thanks man! Your posts are a great read! Alex.

When I started following your thread I had 1 pbn site - now thanks to you I have more than 60... you made my year Alex! and I'm very thankful for that!

    Cheers!

    Hey Alex,

I was wondering why do we have to create different domain registrar accounts?google is not going to find(or are they?) that multiple domains are associated to single godaddy or namecheap account..

What could possibly be the footprint here.

Just not creating dozens of accounts will save lot of time and data entry work..

    Thanks!!

Do you use 404 redirect plugin on all of your pbns or just on some?

Awesome thread i must admit, but I do have some questions despite reading trough the entire thread:

    1. Is there any way you recommend to combine GSA with PBNs while still leave minimum footprints?
    2. Can 1 PBN with aggressive GSA filtering give as much linkjuice as 10 PBNs? (Yes its a theoretical question, but still)
    3. If you have several categories you are trying to rank for and your competitors have like 20-40 more unique domains/ip pointed to their site, would you go down the PBN route if you were only to invest in 20 PBNs or would you use GSA or a mix of them? And if so, can you specify some example scenario?
    4. Will the main site be penalized if one of my PBNs gets a penalty? Has it ever happened?
    5. How much money roughly speaking do you make at this moment, and why offer SEO services to client when you can just create your own businesses thats automated which creates less work? (Casino, Poker, Viagra affiliates) and use your PBNs explicity for them?

When you link from PBN do you link to some authority websites and do you use nofollow or d0follow?

Fantastic thread- my thanks to Alex. Can I trouble you with a question...
I wish to switch out links from my pbns from one rank and rent site (being abandoned) into an older site of mine in the same niche. Both the site being abandoned and my older site are both on the same hosting. Will this be okay or not? Thanks.

This is the main point. If you take fresh regs for the network, it will be useless until you build strong backlinks and gain some authority for these domains. Drops already get it, that's the whole point.

I'm actually starting with my PBN now and I'm learning a lot with all the questions and replies on this thread. Do I have to use a VPN to hide it and avoid getting deindexed?

Thanks for your time OP, I have few questions,
    1. For your PBN network do you bought brand new domains or you bought expired domains which already have good DA PA and PR?.
    2. How many unique IPs you have?
    3. How much money you spent for 500 PBNs(an approximate yearly maintenance cost)

    Thanks in advance
    Edwin

I'm not a pbn expert but...

    1. Of course. Expired aged domains with good da and tf.
    2. I use the same shared host for 1-3 domains.
    3. Well a 15 domain PBN costs like $150-$200 one time and monthly ~$20, depends on the price of webhosts

    hi
at the beginning of the thread you said that using naked\brand urls is unsafe for pbn, but on last pages you said that you use it for your pbn, so what the truth?
what kind of links is better to use for anchor diversity?
dont we waste link juice using naked urls for pbn?
