So I have a real life, actual SEO problem and this post is not a troll.

I want to build a network of TF25+ sites...

I'm struggling like fuck to find them, they really ideally need to be within my niche as this will need to be a pretty solid PBN... I don't want domains that used to belong a hotel to promote my goat prostitution business for example.

I've got custom scrapers, ddominator, domcop, domain rohin... I'm struggling boys.

Am I doing it wrong? Where have you all had success with your own searches?

    Thanks

Finding powerfull domain is not a rocket science .Scrape by own is the best method to find good quality expire domain. For Scraping ,Seems to me you already have various tool then why you are facing so much problem .But if you are looking to find lots of domain every day then you are wrong .There are lots of marketer exactly do the same thing that you are doing ,So finding high TF expire domain could be harder .

My understanding is alot of people have been scraping these type of expired domains round the clock a very long time and you will be lucky to find a genuine TF 25+ domain with out any spam history as even the best sellers hardly have them. usually you can find such non expired in auction but they cost alot. You best best is to lower your expectations re TF...super high TF is not everything.

Of also depends how you measure TF. Seems many people (including sellers) are using the domain.com or www.domain.com to measure TF which is wrong. Getting actual TF should be based on the http:// version.

Why do you want TF25+ sites? You don't always need domains with high TF for PBN, most of them are heavily spammed or penalized in the past. Try to find domains that are relevant to your niche that have clean backlink profile even if the TF isn't high and you're good to go.

I agree you should focus more on site history and niche instead of looking at the metrics so much. Youre going to waste a lot of time looking for a needle in the haystack when you have perfectly good options elsewhere.

If you want real PBN domains like 50+ referring domain and 25+ TF you wont find that from scraping.

The people I get my domains from get them from auctions.

You can find some 10+ RD & 25+ TF but even that will be a struggle with scrapping.

If you have a subscription at Domcop just set up some filters for min TF25+ domains, what niche and ref domains etc...Also filter by only show expiring.

Now just check the ones you find interested with ahrefs, wayback, majestic etc...

Doing that you will find strong spam free domains going on auction almost everyday (depends what niche). It will cost you alot more then buying domains for $15 at the marketplace but 1 really good domain beat 20 of those. And they will keep their age which expired domains don't.

You are not doing anything wrong. Those domains simply aren't available for taking anywhere. You must be incredibly lucky to find one with TF25+ and with RD at least 10+ and clean. And we are talking just the metrics. You also want them niche relevant, which makes this task impossible honestly. So you have to either lower your expectations or go to auctions. Scraping is not a viable option for this kind of metrics, sadly. And auctions are being expensive as hell these past few months, so it's up to you whether you would rather go lower with the metrics, or pay more via auctions.

I used to scrape them by myself and xenu link sleuth. Then just use market samurai for the bulk TF/CF metric and from there narrow the list down and manually check them with majestic or any other backlink checker. This is a cost efficient method.

Basically it's very important where you scrape for expired domains.

    Doesn't matter
But that would make a really bad pbn. The tf is useless if the domain has only like 10 root domains in most cases.

I can only find good ones with clean backlink from something like .co.uk .co.in etc.
Almost never had success with .com .net .org

Well I have custom way and method is absolutely free and I did let it go in public. Just take a moment when you have a go over thread in my sig you will find domains that way. :) Niche related is a must-find when it comes to this method. :) Even foreign languages. :)

The other day i found a really good one expired domain on my niche....i spend a few hours scraping and building the site, getting the old content back.

It took a couple of hours...

Two weeks later, still the site was no indexed. But it was looking good and getting 10-30 uniques a day.

After signing up with Google console (GWT), i just found out the site had a manual action (pure spam) and was deindexed. I just filed a consideration request, but a few days has gone by and nothing yet...so i'm not sure what will happen next...

Long history short, history and content is better to me than metrics. Metrics fails many time. a good domain in archive, should always be a solid project.

Trust me, i have build hundreds of expired domains and help building many pbn's...

If you have ever bought a second hand car, you know that you really need to check it out. After all it might look all shiny and new on the surface, but be a death trap inside.

The same goes for domains: making sure you do your due diligence before purchasing will make sure that you don’t purchase a dud.
