    Hey guys,

I have a dedicated server which I use for most hosting requirements and I have plenty of bandwidth / CPU / RAM resources...

My recent project requires a PBN for around 20 sites. Is there anyway possible I could host all 20 sites on the same server?

I understand that there are some issues:

    - Registrar details - These can be set to individual names / addresses
    - IP Addresses - They can all be given unique IP addresses, I have asked my hosting company if I can order IP addresses from different subnets as the 20 IPs I have at the moment are like:
    x.x.x.1
    x.x.x.2
    x.x.x.3

    - I understand that G can recognise the hosting company
    - I also understand that G can detect the technology used on the server

I guess my question is, is there anyway I can sufficiently make enough changes to make all accounts on the dedicated server look 'disconnected' and a true PBN?

Reading this further, I'm guessing not and I will have to built the bullet in purchasing more hosting accounts and increasing admin overhead...

If they are hosted on the same server there isn't really any way to make it look disconnected that I'm aware of, I'm pretty sure if they are on the same subnet g will still notice - Some hosts that I've come across will offer additional IP's at varying prices ($1.25-$2.50 typically)

Yes, I'm aware that my hosting provider have different IPs on different subnets, but is this really good enough?

EDIT: They got back to me, it's not possible to use different IP addresses from different subnets :/

No. It's not a good idea. Too many footprints. I guess you could use cloudflare but then that in itself is a potential footprint.

I think for a 20 site pbn it's worth spending out on separate hosts- the pbn will be very valuable to you if done right but money wasted if done wrong.

Now, this is something which is possible, and for SEO, it's extreme, i mean extremely dangerous and can kill all your websites linked from it.

Not a good idea if you want your PBN to last. I would honestly say 5 sites per host is the absolute max, as you can use cloudflare for a couple of them

Yes, the more I think about this, the more it's apparent that this thought train is a waste of time...

    Back to external hosting providers.

But, on another note, it would be great to 'network' with other dedicated server owners, so that we can create a website on each other's server, for free.

Let's take this further, say there are a pool of 100 members with dedicated servers, it would be great if each contributing member could offer accounts on their server to others, and vice versa. Obviously, the larger this network grows, the better...

This would make scaling up a PBN so much easier, and more resourceful

    Thoughts?

No this is a terrible idea as:

    1. Very few people use dedicated servers to host their PBN sites. It's a huge waste of money when speed doesn't matter

    2. If their PBN gets hit yours will too. This is just sharing footprints with them

Hosting 20 site in same host, is not a good idea.

    Bad Practice.

Yes, it's not looking like a grand idea. We learn and move on :)

In my experience, and your mileage may vary, I have many PBN's with the same host, and many other hosts. The issue people have with doing this is footprints as mentioned above. However, all of my PBN sites are high quality sites that look natural. With so many sites out there it is literally impossible to not have footprints. Make them look like real sites and it shouldn't matter if your footprint is invisible or the size of the moon. It's all about quality.
