My paypal account has been limited.
Here is what they are asking for:

    Provide proof of business

    1. Your documents need to be valid and legible.
    2. The submitted information on the documents must correspond with the information on your PayPal account.
    3. Documents can't be older than 6 months.
    4. We will handle your information in accordance with our privacy policy.

Has anyone been through this before? The business is online, and I not sure what type of proof I can offer.
    Can someone please help?

Well if you have registered a firm maybe you can provide that document + some documents that indicate that you are paying all the fees related to the business.
Basically if you can provide anything that is related to your business and shows that it's a legit real business it will be enough. Try to find any documents that have your firm's name + a stamp from another business or the government. Even bank documents that show your firms name on them will be enough.

I don't think that he even has to call them. As long as he can provide any type of document that indicate that the business he have is a real business and not just money laundry.
Each country have different type of documents, so you can always say that those particullar documents aren't needed(therefore you don't have them) or don't exist in your country and you use a different documents or something along those lines, they won't argue.
When I was verifying my paypal account(not business account though) since I was too lazy to get all the proper documents I just provided my phone contract and told them that the rest of the documents don't exist in our country and everything was solved within few hours after I provided them.

Thanks, I took your advice and called them.

For any aussies that search this in future, it means you need to register your business name with ASIC and submit this document.
    Thanks guys!

PayPal seems like a nightmare to work with if they're able to freeze your account at all for no reason.
