Paypal Sucks

    Hi guys,

    Today I got $1 payment and paypal taken 34 cents as a fee

    Amount received:
    $1.00 USD Fee amount:
    -$0.34 USD Net amount:
    $0.66 USDWhy is this? can any one know.

    They say they charge 2.30% then why they charged 34%?

    You can ask your clients to transfer payment as PERSONAL PAYMENT if you don't want to pay the transaction fee..

    well I never got payment as low as $1. It was my first time to get a tiny payment. and who cares for .30 if we get $$$$ in Paypal

    It was just to make sure that why PP charged me so much. and it is now cleared by the guy posted above you.

    I always send payments as a gift and always ask for the same doing it the other way, it sucks they charge for little amounts but thats gaypal for ya.

    well did you really read the full post? Please look what a guy suggested here. Just say your buyers to send payments as Personal Payments or as a Gift and then you will be on #1 ;) with getting payments.

    Anyone had ever problems with personal payments. .ie if i send 2k personal for "money owed" wonder if they might ask something , once sent about 700€ to other account and got limited and some long as form asking all kind of stuff lol

    @ 700 euro transaction.. What information did they ask for ?

    umm boring -- read the tos and payment issues on paypal including transactions fees, etc. -- Learn more on here and digitalpoint (although you'll receive more input on this forum).
