    Hi, I'm from Malaysia.

My problem now is to accept payment on my shopify store. Very hard...

    1. For shopify payment i need to used VPN, using US ip so that i can used shopify payment.
    2. Stripe doesnt support Malaysia
    3. Coinbase too doesnt support Malaysia
    4. 2checkout very tough to get approve, already apply, get disapprove after they review my store
    5. Braintree doesnt support shopify, wtf

Paypal... always get limited. Permanent limited. With my low budget, its hard for me, i'm doing dropship, sometime i need to send the item first (paypal want to track the item before release the payment) with my own money, then paypal get permanent limited. *&&$^$#

    Did you have any alternatives?

Shopify supports quite a few in your country: https://www.shopify.com/payment-gateways/malaysia

iPay88 and Molpay are okay'ish for small companies from what I gathered. Otherwise you'd have to try and get into one of the big banks in Asia and use MiGS ( MasterCard Internet Gateway Services ).

2checkout is good. Did they give you any reason why you got disapproved? For stripe check their Stripe Atlas program. I myself got a company and us bank from their team as I needed to just accept US payments and stripe was one solution.

Hi Escobart, any update on this issue?

I'm from Malaysia too, been online selling in Malaysia for 1 year. Now thinking of Shopify and facing the payment gateway issue too.

I'm using eGHL for my Malaysia website. And eGHL said they support shopify payment, however only via credit cards (Visa, Master, American Express).

Using Paypal / Shopify etc better for US customer. As these payment gateway already exist for a long time and trusted by US citizen. If we use Malaysia Payment Gateway they might hesitate to make payment. Unless the payment gateway is recognized internationally and well known.
