    Hi
Today I get a message in my inbox - from Paypal that the payment is being held -Inquired by Paypal (not the buyer) Paypal wants me to show proof of shippment of product but this is a downloadable product - via e-junkie - so there's no tracking info. This is the second time Paypal is doing this the first time when I tried to respond they did nothing - money is on hold..

What should I do now? This keeps on happening again and again..

BTW - everything is 100% legit I'm doing just selling a downloadable product..

    Thanks

Ohh dude , always paypal say this ,,,, you make one office Word file and mention these " Payment for this ( Download able product )" and mention price ... just

And mention payment for services only .

    They will unlimit your account.

    Thanks

Yet no matter how many times you show proof, it'll continue to happen again and again. I have had thousands of dollars held by paypal for different lengths of time. I finally got fed up enough to quit using their services. I now use Alertpay and a credit card processing company and I'll never go back. I understand that for some people, a paypal account is apparently needed. Heck, many times I see a service offered from someone here on the forum that I would love to try, but I can't because I refuse to use a paypal account. Still, the positives of switching still far outweigh the negatives for me.

this has happened with me many times and its simple to restore your account or close disputes by calling them over the phone! tell them it was an intangible item and you don't provide any refunds,i had closed 9 disputes in 3 mins over the phone:D if you don't call them, you will loose the disputes and the buyer will win,i lost many then tried this method,it works 100% as per my experience, done like 5-6 times already:p

    1. spread your eggs around and don't limit yourself to paypal. Also offer paxum, okpay, cashx, libertyreserve, alertpay etc as a payment option to your customers.

    2. don't accept payment from accounts or countries that paypal might consider suspicious: Only accept payment from verified accounts (if an unverified account does pay you, simply refund it)

    3. use maxmind's minifraud check ( /app/ccv_overview ) and don't accept payment from users with a suspicious ip.

    4. log everything.

Not 100% true, I was doing seo and web design services and offered no refunds, one shiesty customer decided to hit me for a refund 2 months later and my account went negative 700$, I talked to paypal and told them I offer no refunds especially when the customer was serviced 2 months ago and they told me that I need to - A: To contact the customer and work it out with them to pay it back or - B: Pay paypal the balance owed ($700) due to a shitty customer.

I refuse to pay it and they still call my phone to this day, this happened last may.

Paypal is garbage, I'd advise you to not use your real name when setting up a paypal account incase they do screw you like that, it wont go against your credit.

If you're serious in selling stuff online, get a merchant who offers paypal payments. Never deal with pp directly.

I learned that the hard way.

I have had this happen in the past and just entered the words "Digital product downloaded on _____" in the tracking number field of the request. Had the funds released in just a few days. _______ = date the person actually downloaded the product.

Fucking dumb ass I was replying to that useless post that had nothing to do with the thread. I don't even use paypal. You got to re consider saying something like that before you attach someone you don't know lil pussy.
