paypal payment with red flag

    i recived a payment few hours ago via paypal and they said its under review i have not ship the item yet i was wondering should i inform the buyer and ask him to call them to fasten the proces or what should i do? because it says under 24 hours it will be reviewd but i saw a lot of people says it take longer and i dont want to wait being am

    I've had it take as long as 3 days for their review in the past for some of my clients.

    If I were in your shoes, I would surely communicate to your client... that is real important to do. I do not know that I would ask the buyer to call PP but I would keep them in the loop as to what was going on.

    Paypal does this pretty often if it's a large amount or if it's a new buyer/no account buyer. I just give them time. I've had them approve it within 30 minutes and in as much as 2 days. Typically it's about 24 hours.

    Since you're shipping a physical product, I would just let them know that Paypal has a temporary hold on the money. It's automated and should be released soon. As soon as it's released, you'll ship the product.

    Communicate with the buyer or wait for Paypal to release the funds. It is a matter of your patience. This happens sometimes with paypal, all part of the process.
