I'm going to be launching a Product in the Near Future. I've come down to AlertPay Or Pay Pal? Which one will work best To recieve Payments and Won't Close Down the Account for ANY Specific Reason? All in all which one would you use Or better yet, Which one are you using Now For selling your Products and ebooks? I think Alertpay Would be great due to low Fees and Nice Credit Card you can get from them.

Any Suggestions or Help on what to choose Would be APPRECIATED!

I use paypal but I have a verified paypal account and don't really think I'm doing anything that would get my account put on hold or banned. Most USA consumers use paypal from what I've seen.

    Paypal :p
Paypal is generally more supported, and more people use it as well.

Paypal will work, UNTIL they limit your account over "unusual activity" (even if there's been none) and demand you fork over bank statements and other evidence "to verify your location." If you do, they may remove the hold, OR now demand you supply a government issued ID and SSN to authenticate your identity (even though there are non-ID ways to authenticate an account, and even though the account may be a decade old).

After this is supplied, they STILL might not release the hold, or else keep it in place for 6 months. The point is IMers should be moving to replace the strangling market share PP has over the online processor biz, every bit as much as Firefox needed pushing years ago to break the monopoly MS Internet Explorer had over the browser biz. We have to support non US replacements like Alertpay to make them more popular, or else PP will be continuing to arbitrarily limit accounts into the foreseeable future.

Paypal is used a lot in the US, but once you make money, they will limit you account and ask for a lot of documents, and if you are a US citizen, they will want your SSN. I was doing great with Ebay until they limited my account because they need more info from me. But here is the bad news... Since I had bad credit from college, they closed my account because of the bad credit. They told me that I am a risk to the company. I was like... All I was doing was selling on ebay and all items were shipped and delivered. I use Alert Pay now more than paypal. Just be careful with paypal.

You should try to use both of them.
If paypal bans your for whatever reason, you'll have a ready alternative. You'll be then struggling with paypal to get your account back working, but you will still have some money flowing from alterpay.

    It's wise to use back-ups:)

Switching yourself to Alertpay rather than Paypal is like Kicking out some of your potential buyers :)

He can take the havoc of managing both, but I dont think that would be a necessity because Paypal is functional in almost all countries where people have enough cash to spend. :)

Still, going for both is just fine! :)

I have clients paying me via Alertpay instead of Paypal, since PP doesn't accept their country.

You'd be missing a lot of cash if you dont use either.

Yesterday I saw a crossroads advertisement (HUGE) for PayPal.
I am not from the USA.

Get the point? PayPal is branded worldwide as a safe payment solution. If you are to sell your [legit] products you probably should go with PayPal.

you could use avangate or plimus and you can accept paypal without having an acct. although you have to wait a while for your money.

If you choose alertpay you will loose ton of sales I think there is no question about that lot of clients have paypal account but almost nobody use alertpay. You can think about also 2co or plimus payment processors they accept credit cards and paypal also or you can use paypal and once account get's limited use 2co or plimus
