Paypal... Need an idea, or something.. Help?

Ok. So my Paypal debit card was reaching expiration. So I did what I had always done in the past, simply pushed the lost or stolen button within the site, and cancelled the thing.

BIG mistake. They then required me put ANOTHER debit or credit card on file.. So, needed to get to a bank, with an account I havn't used in a while, and request a card. Ok, so the bank's card came in over a week later. Said card was then able to be used to verify to Paypal so I could request another damn Paypal card. It now takes 2 - 4wks to come in?? LAME, it always took under a week in the past. I don't like Paypal's new changes... At all..

Anyway, a few weeks after requesting or "Applying" for the card, I went back and did it again. A week later, today, decided to give them a call and see what the deal was. The lady spoke with a thick Asian-sounding accent, and didn't understand much of what I was asking... Finally she claims that I had requested no card, so she put the request in manually for me. How sweet.

OK. I have already reached my $500 limit to the bank account from Paypal, kinda have NOTHING until Paypal card comes in, if ever...

Isn't there SOME way to get Paypal cash without a god damned debit card?? Cannot wait a month for smokes, man... Lol

Isn't this a problem for anyone else? I swear, they changed the whole thing around. This is just ridiculous!! Anyone who's been with Paypal for a while knows they used to NOT be this way....??

Is there a reason you cannot transfer the money to your bank account? Or send the money to a friends paypal account and have them withdraw the money for you.

Agreed, withdraw to your bank account or send to a (very trusted) friend or family member and get them to withdraw it to their account to pay you.

Also, there's no need to cancel your paypal debit card or mark it as stolen; they usually send you a new card in the mail on or around the expiration date of your old card.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea a new card is auto-sent. As for not transfering to bank account, my account has a limit of $500, already reached it, like said before... Kinda annoying.

And yeah, no.. No friends or family in the area with Paypal. Damn the drawbacks of being the only one I know into the internet in this way.. lol
