So recently my paypal account has been perm limited and I can't get funds until 180 days. I really can't purchase anything anymore due to everything I buy goes through paypal. Would it work if I changed my bank account numbers, and debit card to a new one but the same account, and the old one just sits on the account? & then when the 180 days comes I can tell them to send me a check in the mail or does it automatically go to the bank account? thanks

You can't really create a new paypal account using same account details. They will limit them as well. Just create using new ip, and using any other family details. That would be fine.

I really wasn't Gonna plan on making a new paypal account. but would my idea work?

New account, new name (LLC works fine), new address, new phone, new bank account.

They will send you a check in 180 days for the old account but I am pretty sure you have to ask... they did that to me 2 or 3 years ago with 14K+ in the accounts.

I have the choice between address and directly to bank account right?

you should contact with paypal support they will really help you

No, change both.
I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say. I want to change my bank account number and debit so the debit and bank account on my paypal account is just an account that is stuck on there. Basically I will have a fresh new bank account number and a new debit. Would that interfere with the funds after 180 days when my funds are able to be withdrawn? That's why I'm asking if I have the choice for the funds to be sent to me by check in the mail.

Hi,

Don't change your bank account details on the frozen account. That will look suspicious, and in 180 days they will pay you the outstanding balance, typically directly into that account.

If you are looking to open a new account I would suggest either explaining to a family member and getting them to do it for you, because at some point to remove your limits Paypal will ask for proof, such as your passport or id and if you have already provided that for your frozen account you will not be able to use the same id again.

Or as other contributors have said, set up a new company, with new address etc.

My bad, no that will not be a issue when you ask them to mail you the funds. I set up a new PP account about 4 days after they limited the old one and it has been golden since + they mailed the money after the 180 once I asked.

Okay thanks a lot.

Just call them.

Paypal gets a bad rap around these parts but they treat all their merchants relatively well.

The best thing to do is do tons of research on how paypal will limit your account. There are certain things you will accept payments for and later find out paypal does not support those types of transactions.

You will need to create new account with a different first name on a brand new IP and brand new browser. DO NOT USE YOUR OLD BROWSER!

You can use your same last name but try to keep the first name close to each other. Like James > Jason
Something like that should work. Just be sure to always keep your paypal accounts separated. Never login with a browser you used to login to another paypal account. You must use New IP and New browser. A VPS is good for that.

Do tons of research and you will be pro at keep your paypal account stealth.
