Paypal Limited account,help please.

hi everyone, im kinda new here so dont be mad if this topic are not supossed to be here, so like 3 days ago,i created paypal account, i linked my credit card to my paypal account i verified credit card, i have verified user status, but today when i log in to paypal i see message :

Why is my account access limited?

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):
Feb 3, 2009: Our system detected unusual charges to a credit card linked to your PayPal account.
(Your case ID for this reason is ************.)

i changed case id to *** in case u hackers can do smth with it



ok i thought some stupid problems with paypal i go to resolution center i scroll down and i dont see any cases at all, and if i try to search for those cases it says they dont exist, so how the hell i can restore my account ?

try calling them... but make sure you are clear as to the reasons as in my case, they didn't quite understand the problem so they "investigated" and subsequently kept my account in permanant limitation.

I've had that happen, in my case it was because I used my paypal debit card and tried to get out $500 cash (limit is $400). So I called them.. making CERTAIN to call from the number that is tied to my account. Then I was very friendly with the person who answered, played dumb, told them I'd made a mistake and what could I do to resolve it..

well i could call them, but im not sure if i should becouse english is not my native language, and my accent is not so good, and i think i would get more troubles then help isnt there realy any other options ? and this reason " Our system detected unusual charges to a credit card linked to your PayPal account. " is quite stupid i dont realy understand why this reason, i didnt bought or sold anything, i didnt used paypal at all, i just created account and verified thats all ~_~

They just limed your account because they thought you had unusual money-moving... its wierd tho, if you havent had money on it yet. They asks you to send a lot of scanned ids, driver license, bank reports, adress confirmation with bills to your name and adress etc, it takes 1-2 week and about 2 calls

I got an email the other day from Paypal - and it looked legit, they were using my business name connected to my account, vs. "dear paypal member" or something else that would tip you off that its a scam site. Also - there were no links in the email. I was also told that there was a limit put on my account, and to go to the resolution center to see the details. They indicated in the email that there was suspicious 3rd party activity on my account.

I logged into paypal directly to see what was happening. I got no indication on logging in that my account was limited in any way. No issues were showing in the resolution center either. So - I am not sure what is happening, because it appears that they have not taken any action on my account.

Anyone else get this email in the past few days from Paypal?

well i had money on my credit card, i bought some stuff with my credit card like TF2 from steam, but not with paypal, is this why they limited my account?

well i just loged in and saw this message " Your account has been limited for more than 180 days. It will continue to be limited but you now have the ability to withdraw funds." WHAT THE HELL ?
