Which way is the best way to protect ourselfs from chargebacks and or people screwing us when sending paypal.

1. sell via service

Or

2. Sell via goods?

I've heard of people who sell digital products sending an envelope with a kind of reciept inside and paying 50c or whatever it is to get a tracking code so that if anyone tries anything you can provide the tracking info they require. I've never had a problem selling goods/services via paypal until recently when they limited my business verified account & asked for proof of purchase/tracking and other information for the last xx number of transactions.

I always put in the email notes something like.

By paying this (invoice, fee, whatever it is) you agree to , then your terms, Also put in the return policies, Most people dont read it, and if they do and they pay, then it becomes a binding contract.

Well all services have agreements, Put what the agreements are, For example, I ask you to design me a logo with some decent background, and you complete it and send it. Then I tell you to add music, You can say sorry that wasnt in the agreement, and I wont be able to chargeback because I agreed on the terms of the service when I paid the invoice.

Hope that made sense, and yes I know theres no music on a logo :p

Both ideas sound like a winner , guess I will have to try both out and see what can be done to thwart off the scammers who get the item then claim they didnt get the items, then paypal closes down the damn accounts and ugg what a headache

Selling anything with paypal is a gamble, but I would always mail something

Yea I did that , even had usps tracking numbers and everything the people got the item and they called there credit card company and got the card company to do a charge back and i lost the item and the money and the paypal account all in one month i was pissed
