For those that have experienced issues with PayPal holding their money or from some stories I've heard, just outright closing accounts and keeping your money, it looks like a class action law suit is being filed against the company, in the United States.

There is more information here - this might be helpful to those who have experienced this and you might want to get more information:

Their class action document is dated 13 August 2010 so I highly doubt it's going anywhere.

In India, paypal cannot hold bank the money. They have to cashout or they have to pay me , interest for the money they are holding as per the RBI rules. So i think it won't be problem in INDIA.

Good luck with paypal. Get your own merchanting and even then you typically get screwed if you are doing large volumes or non-physical goods. The processing industry is very bleek IMO.

If you are in the market for paid surveys, you might have heard about the good and positive reaction of people about paid PayPal surveys. But what separates them from the other paid survey sites. What makes PayPal surveys different?

As a payment processor and not a bank, most states require PayPal to release money within 10 days. You have to find the law for your state, contact you state attorneys generals office, and file a complaint.

If a company is as large as PayPal I seriously doubt that lawsuit would win. Remember PayPal is in one of those
to big to fail list I am afraid.

When I first stated doing surveys, I made a whole $30ish and paypal actually called me claiming suspicious activity on my account.
lmfao @ $3 here $1.96 there coming in from GPT sites and that flagged me, they did un-limit me though and even sided with me over a failed virtual item scam attempt by one of those gold selling sites for (runescape) lmfao

Then once when I bought items for my car on NFS world and the game glitched and took my account funds, paypal actually gave me the $7 out of their own pockets rather then let me file against NFS.

BUT, someone bought an item from me for $300 on my business account, and then a month later filed unauthorized use with their CC company and paypal gave them their money back, which put me -$295 with them, then they locked both my accounts with them.
This was a transaction with someone I know in real life, but I have zero proof that they infact used their own CC then a month later claim it was stole with their CC company.
the whole deal is fked up, how the hell they got away with it, when I personally watched them use the CC to fund my paypal.
The fact that I know them personally means nothing to paypal, and that they used their own IP and even if I was to take them to court, paypal says they could care less if I won against said person and they refuse to give me the proper info to contact their CC company myself.

Paypal told me even if I did win in small claims court, it meant nothing to them and I cant have my accounts back

So F paypal, they are the ones out the $300 not me and I am now using a new paypal lmfao.
