I just received an email from my bank telling me that Paypal in my country is now being regulated by the reserve bank.they will screen any transactions we make before allowing the money to come through or be sent out which can take up to 3 days.YAY!!!!

and if you want to buy goods from abroad.Every time you do buy something you will have to fill out a form and wait 1 - 6 weeks to get approval from the reserve bank.

If paypal wasn't complicated enough.this just takes it to another level.

Hey, in my country you have to wait 30 days to withdraw your amount from paypal to your credit card.

But then again ,everyone has paypal, people start looking me strange when I ask for moneybookers payment or they think that I will scam them.

Well, i'm still using paypal but i'm also nervous to keep money in $ in it :(

I don't to pay conversion fees + transaction fees to get into my bank account.

I'm looking further to open a US bank account.

If someone has any tips it is welcome :)

Take paypal by using Plimus of 2Checkout to reduce the risks. A sly way to introduce Moneybookers or Alertpay is to take payment via visa/mc, using the interface script of Alertpay or Moneybookers. That way it looks like you are using a globally branded processor (VISA, MC) as far as the customer is concerned, instead of the obscure rival sites to PP.
