Is anyone here experienced in selling ebooks with paypal?
How can I protect my download page so that only people who successfully purchase something through paypal are allowed to download the ebook?

    Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the recommendation, but I was looking for something more along the lines of a free method.

Yes, give e Junkie a try. A lot of people use it for ebook selling.

Make sure you google up a coupon code for e-junkie first, you can get up to 3 months for free I believe.

paypal has the option to re-direct buyers to a specified URL after payment, just change the url often to stop people leeching

E-junkie is not bad, there is also FastSpring.com which is very good as well. They allow more payment options and their support is extremely fast and helpful.

e-junkie is the best thing... I sold a lot of ebooks with it no problems at all... I will be honest and say that I haven't tried any other service but only since this is the best one :D

I tried e-junkie and ebook*stamper*com because I want to deter passing around my hard work for free by using their security stamping feature on all downloaded ebooks in pdf format... damn those bastards out there for passing around unauthorized copies of things (ahem--*looks over shoulder*). The problem was that I had trouble getting any sort of customer stamp to work for my ebooks. The two sites claim their stamping works, but for me, no success. I couldn't even successfully upload my 2.7 MB ebook to ebook*stamper. E-junkie's service was unable to apply a stamp. Both experiences sucked for me personally.

After searching some more, I went with digitalcontentcenter * com because their stamping feature works beautifully. Plus the site has a huge list of services and features that kick ass. You can even start your own affiliate program with sales tracking and all kinds of goodies. Paypal and CB integration as well!

I pay 14.95 a month because its the package with an affiliate program capacity--which I utilize. The cheaper monthly fee package is for hosting and basic stamping of your ebook and some other stuff--no frills.

    Hope this helps.

That seem like a reasonable price. I'll ck this out. Thanks... how long have you been using them?

Been with them a couple months. I only started this affiliate program thing on my own. It seems to be working smoothly. The site is professional looking as well... more of a corporate feel than e-junkie. I think anyone will like using this service for the two reasons I mentioned earlier: the stamping (works every time) and the affiliate program capacity. There are report features and other things as well. Just depends how much you need.

Hope this helps and I hope it all works out for you.
