Im new to using eBay/paypal and just recently had to create both these accounts to purchase some items off eBay, however I ran into a few issues that i can't seem to resolve.
Story
1) I just created my paypal account(1 day old) and I have successfully linked my credit card to my account.
2) I also created a brand new eBay account at the same time to purchase the items i would like.
When I go to checkout via paypal, the transaction fails and i get this error message.
We can't process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details, including your billing address.
I doubled checked by billing address, and everything is correct and is linked to my paypal.
After checking my credit card and billing address i tried to purchasing a different item and it went smoothly and got processed.
I than tried purchasing the item that had failed before and got the same error code.
Is this a paypal glitch? I tried purchasing various items in the range of 1300 dollars- to 10 dollars, and some transactions go through and some do not? When i try to purchase a large item i.e 1300 dollars it fails, however when i go to purchase a 20 dollar item it works, but than when i try a 5 dollar item it fails!!!!???
Is this because my account is fairly new? From the searching i have done via forums, it tells me to wait 24 hrs? will this fix the issue? I don't see any limitations on my accounts, other than a "withdrawal limit for paypal at $700 dollars. This limitation shouldn't effect my purchasing limits?
How can i fix this issue?
