Message as title, I've moved to a different country for 5-6 months but was wondering if I login to my paypal account will they insta-shit pants & lock my account?

Also on a much lighter note... my new office is like 30 seconds away from the beach :D

Yes, most likely they will. Think about it, if someone logged in from somewhere other than your home country, wouldn't that raise a red flag? I've accidently logged in with a vpn once, and i had to answer security questions like last 4 digits on my cc, bank #, ssn#, etc. If it's a new account it may be limited, which in that case you will have to call paypal. If your account is limited and you need a direct # to paypal, send a pm my way and ill get you the #. Paypal support takes forever if you go through their stupid toll free thing.

I've just moved to a different country and have been using Paypal for a few of weeks with no problems.

Also living right next to the sea :beach2: ... get woken up early by ships blasting their fog horns every morning which is starting to piss me off a bit though. I'm so English i just can't not find something to complain about

I take back what i said. Those f*ckers limited my account today so I'm having to get someone back in the UK to revalidate all my address details, phone number, etc.

You might want to try contacting them before you continue using your account. I'm going to fax them a copy of my visa and see what they say.

Gaypal is nothing but a bunch of theives. They sit around and dream of any reason to snatch up accounts and hold your money. When they can't find a good reason to do it, they come up with the "security" bs.

Just call them, tell them you are out of the country and they'll fix it. I had that issue a few months ago.

I've had my Paypal account for 3 years in good standing. I'm currently on vacation in China and I logged into my account once and got locked out. I emailed them and I'm waiting for things to get fixed at this time.

I think they do. PayPal does that to protect your account. Contact PayPal and inform them that it is really you who is accessing the account.
