    Hey all

So need some advice...We have a little ratio of less than 5% people charging back.

People charge back after they've used our service. We have IP, time and files that they downloaded. They basically pay and a couple of days later files a dispute (after they have downloaded anything from A-Z). Whether it is a dispute on "product doesn't match description", "unauthorized charge" or whatever, we can see that they USED our service before charging back.

How do I go about fighting them besides putting forth the information that I have?

I hate dishonest people, so I'm going to use everything in my power to try and ruin their dispute.

PS this is a digital product. Just like for the ebook sellers. Just here I actually have evidence that they've been caught with the hand in the cookie jar.

Paypal API's to our system...They send command to our system after payment complete --- The people just download files - in fact we can calculate how fast they downloaded too. It's just bull to deal with a few complaints EVERY DAY because people are dishonest.

i agree with G00B3R if you have the info showing that they downloaded the product then give it to paypal and you will win. Yes its a pain and that's why people like paying with paypal cause they make it easy to dispute stuff. and if your a big seller you dont have time to follow up on every dispute so some of those customers know the system and are trying to work it.

Just like with any merchant account if you can show that they did get the item then the merchant is going to go with the seller as they want to keep your business. if you are not able to show what you need to prove they got it then they will go with the buyer.

U win by default, nothing to worry about (with rhyme and everything! Dam I am good!)

All you have to do is to tell paypal that they paid for a digital product and you've got them in the bag.

I always require a shipping address regardless. Then just turn over the info to a collection agency.

Usually when the collection agency sends out the first postal mail letter they drop the Paypal dispute.
