    Hi,

Just finished a conversation with Paypal in regards of account limitations and country related issues. Lets see if you guys can understand it and give me a hand.

Basically I called because I've got 2 Paypal accounts within the UE, one in the UK and another one in other country. I am legally trading under the UK hence I use my PayPal from the UK a lot since my business bank accounts are located within the UK.

I currently live in a different country than the UK. So I was asking this lady about limitations when receiving money and all that. She basically told me that if I log in frequently from one country to my UK account, it can eventually become limited and I would need to provide paperwork to prove that I am trading under the UK. Fair enough. But then she said, that even then, if I continue to log into this account from the country im currently living, it does not matter as it can get blocked for life. No exceptions made...

So I am like, right, I completely understand your points, so you are basically saying that I cannot use Paypal for my business in the uk for as long as I reside in another country, right? And she went over to explain the same bullshit that she already told me in first place, rather than just saying, yes - you can't.

Anyways, knowing this, I don't want to move from the country I am currently residing, but I obviously need to still trade via UK. So here comes the question. Are proxies a safe way to log into PayPal? That would solve the whole issue with PayPal. Talking about highly anonymous proxies etc.

    Thanks in advance

Don't dare use proxies on Paypal.

Their advice is true. What you should do is have your paperwork in order for when the certain limitation will occur.

Even better, advise them before hand. But don't touch your paypal account with a proxy if you love it and yes they will limit your account if you login from another country.

Ye, been reading about that... proxies are not the solution.

I am really pissed off as I don't really understand why can't I login from other countries regularly... really seems stupid to me. I mean, its fine with my bank but it is not fine with Paypal, really?

The lady already said that even if I have my paperwork ready it won't matter as the system is already programmed for it. Eventually you would get a call from the higher grounds and they could shut your account for life, which is fucking stupid. Raging...
