Hi guys. Last days, I am selling digital services. Due to the nature of the services, I have no way to prove that I performed the service.

I have 2 payment options: Credit/debit card and PayPal.
Most of the payments are paypal. I have just got 2 payment reverses (opened disputes). How to deal with it and future situations?

Please, if you want to reply "delete paypal option" - do not bother.

Try your best to fight it, but if nothing can be done then just take the loss. If its just a small percentage its not a big deal I think.
Have bulletproof terms of service and reports for the service you offered. If the report is not enough, there must be some kind of proof you did the work. I can't really think of anything where there is absolutely no trace of work being done. Even if you outsource, you can prove you outsourced and got the report.
Does that help ? Or is your situation more specific ?

look there's nothing you can do about it if you cant provide proof to the buyer that you delivered the service. instead what you can do is ask them to pay via FMF if you have a personal Paypal account

What do you think about that solution:

They are ordering because they know they will get money back. So, if they are tricky... i can do something similar.
I will promise them 2x more work when they end the dispute. (of course I won't do anything more) After that, they won't be able to open another time, sure?

It's not that ethic, but if they want to trick somebody, somebody can do it to them.

How much was the reversal?
You have them esign a document stating they received goods/services, basically the document says they are paying bc they have already received the final service/good. Get them to sign this upfront of course. Receipt of goods/services contract. Plenty of templates online.

If you take lots of chargeback Paypal can suspend your account.

They dont want more work they want their money back they set out to do this in the beginning.
Unless be honest are they disputing bc the work was bad?
How much are we talking?

Not much you can do if you cannot provide proof. For the next time keep track of every single thing, reports, screen shots...anything.

Also keep in mind to deal with the dispute/solution through paypal. I've seen cases of people answering and dealing with the problem via their regular email accounts, which paypal cannot track or have proof of, as a result paypal closed the dispute after a time even the problem was solved just not through their platform.

When they opened the dispute they have to tell a reason, which is that reason ?

Where are you selling these digital things? off the counter? or on marketplace like ebay? because if it's otc you can definitely set your own rules, ask them to use friends and family, lie in invoices, tell paypal you're selling a service not digital goods, yada yada yada

Although you don't want to hear it, the only bulletproof solution is to stop accepting PayPal payments for the SMM work you've done. Apart from that, make sure the buyer agrees to your terms of service before making the order.

I prefer asking my clients to do FnF instead of Good and Services. Some of them agree to do this.
