Does the money get debited from your PayPal account or your credit card? If the latter, contact the card issuer.

You can easily charge this back since there's no proof of any work done. PayPal only covers physically shipped items I believe.

you can file dispute on paypal or chargeback on your credit card company (preferred and easy)

I thought you cannot dispute a gift transaction, was that changed or what?

i know its possible to call paypal about it and have different people working there saying different things about how things work

that is why i can not tell you what to do

i have had paypal tell me that if it was not bought from ebay then they can not guarantee quality of the product only that the product was deliverd, and that is about the only thing im pretty sure most people will tell you at paypal

as far as the kind of thing you paid for, i have heard different stories from paypal

in the past paypal has lead me to belive i have nothing to worry about and that i will get my money back, only to call back a week later like they told me to and speak to someone that tell you im sorry that the last person gave you the wrong infomation and then i loose the case that they pretty much promised me that i wasnt

Just contact PP directly and ask them. If its CC then best option is to file a dispute via your credit card company, that will always work.

You have 45 days to file a dispute/claim in paypal then up to 20 more days for the person to respond. If they don't respond in those 20 days then paypal favors you in the dispute and refunds your money.

If it has been longer than 45 days then you're screwed.

If you used your CC you normally have up to 90 days to file a chargeback which will be in your favor since your CC company won't give a shit about a digital product. You have no proof of the work done so you will win.
