First of all, if this thread shouldn't belong in the Lounge, please move it.

Now, in this thread I'm going to show you 2 problems I had this month with Paypal Bank Transfer and eCheck Payments that I received on one of my websites, as well as bring forth information about 2 scammers. So I sell digital goods on a website.

    =============================================

    Scammer 1 - Bank Payments

This month I had a guy pay with a Bank Transfer. I never received a payment like that, and I sent the products. After I did that I saw on Paypal that they say I should not send any products until the payment has cleared, and that the payment was Pending. Okay, I fucked up there by allowing the products to be delivered, but I was still hoping the payments would eventually clear.

    Here are those 2 payments:

(sorry, tried attaching the images here, but I kept getting "exceeded your quota" error)

About 10 days later, naturally, the payments were cancelled. Here are the screenshots:

I'm putting the information I have about this guy in writing here too (so that they are searchable on the net):

    Name: Andrjuha Kuliwajit

    Address:
    Br├╝ckmanweg
    44328 Dortmund
    Germany

    Email: [email protected]

    Username on my site: Ruseeek

One of his purchases were followers for an Instagram account, so here: https://www.instagram.com/RXSLAX/ (looks like a fucking faggot!)

    Scammer 2 - eCheck Payments

This guy bought a bunch of stuff. Honestly, about 2 years ago I made some cash writing on Bubblews, and they always paid with an eCheck. So I had a good experience with eChecks. Wasn't that suspicious. I sent the products to the guy.

    Here are his payments:

I'm putting the information I have about this guy in writing here too (so that they are searchable on the net):

    Name: Kortingcashback

    Address:
    Singelstraat 119
    6828 JZ Arnhem Netherlands

    Email: [email protected]

Registration email on my site: [email protected]

    Username on my site: mrvanosch

    City/Country: Amsterdam, Noord-holland, Netherlands

    ISP/IP: Vodafone Fixed (5.132.66.163)

His website (or one of them): https://www.kortingcashback.nl/

    =============================================

    Moral of the story:

NEVER ship anything if you receive a Bank or an eCheck payment UNTIL the payment clears. Best course of action is to inform your customer that you have to wait until their payment clears before you can ship/send what they purchased to them.

In my case... after sending the products and then getting the cancelled payments emails from Paypal some days later...

I've sent both of these guys an email, politely asking that they get back to me about this "mistake." But I'm not holding my breath, as you might imagine. If any one of them gets back to me and resolves his failed payments, I will come back here and edit my thread (or ask a mod to edit it in case I can't), or reply below informing about it.

That's it. Beware everyone! Seller beware!

Did you know you can disable eCheck payments?
Simply go to "My Selling Tools" > Block Payments

You can google it, and find a guide on how to do it.
This option is almost always abused, so there is no reason to not block it.

echecks are usually bad payments, very rarely do a serious customer pay with echeck.
