Paypal autowithdrew my money to my bank account.. wth!

    Last night I got this message :

    Your PayPal balance was auto withdrawn

    Dear xyz,

    Your PayPal balance was automatically transferred to your xxx bank in India, x-00xx on Sep 12, 2011.

    Your balance is automatically withdrawn daily.

    Yours sincerely,
    PayPal


    What the fuck is the problem now!??! ....

    Yea, as per the RBI insructions, we are supposed to withdraw the money within 7 days but I didn't know they would be withdrawing it the same day ( as in my case ). I will be writing to paypal regarding this.

    Well, have you enabled the autowithdrawal function?!:confused:

    If yes,it would to be auto-withdrawn to the primary Bank Account you have chosen...:eek:

    no, I didnt even know there is a autowithdraw option in paypal . They auto withdrew it for me .. :(

    I contacted them, waiting for their reply.

    They will be withdrawing our money every day. WTF??

    Well,check your PayPal account again and see whether you have enabled the autowithdraw function or not...:eek:

    If not,you can always contact them,hopefully something good will come out...:)

    Glad to know I am not alone here . I think they are doing this to all Indians .

    This seems to be happening to all Indians.. damn paypal!

    i am seriously worried about refunds/disputes and how that will reflect in the account... plus if i have to FIRC charges i'll be negative amounts everyday.

    Paypal wont charge you Rs 50 for the bank charges anymore :).

    well, I just checked my paypal, and my money is still there :)

    There is not an auto withdraw option in Paypal.

    Anyone that wants to hold on to thier money longer than 7 days can PP it to me until they need it. We can work out some sort of compensation plan? Maybe like $15 a month to hold on to your money for you?
