Paypal Account with fake details? Illegal?

Didn't know where else to post this, so if there is a better location please let me know.

Basically what I want to know is if it is illegal in the US to make a paypal account with a fake name and address and then a VCC or prepaid card? I am not looking to hold a ton of money in this account, it will simply be a go between (about $10-$20). I do not plan on using these accounts for anything illegal, but it is for a blackhat method I am trying out.

While the method is blackhat, I am not looking to break the law, but i could give a shit about Paypal's TOS, so if they limit the account I will just create more.

The main reason I am concerned about this, is because while these details are fake to me, they are someone's actual name and address and Im not looking to get busted for identity theft or fraud.

It's not illegal anywhere as of yet.

Try making a social security number after you say click this link later.

You don't have to hand over your information immediately.

I have a fully functional paypal account since 2010 and only put my tax identification number inside about a week ago and it could process
claims and send as much money and receive the same amount.

I can't even put my bank details in because it won't go through, but as far as i'm concerned they only donate a tax form if you request one.

I was doing a lot of blackhat methods with my real pp account and never get busted.
But if insist then it's not illegal to have a fake pp account but they will limit your account and will ask for you ID.

I'd suggest you to come up with some REAL fake detail information instead of using someone else's information. Cause that's going to probably land you in dipshit for identity theft/impersonation/whatever

you need to verify the paypal with an ID at some point and that's when it becomes illegal, because without a forged/stolen document, you won't be able to do that

what you're planning to do, using an existing person's identity is identity theft, it's another question that more than likely you'll get away with it unless you do something really blackhat drawing attention to yourself, but paypal doesn't check these documents closely, if that's what you're worried about

You don't need to give a SIN number. Paypal is allowed to ask for it, but they (or any other company) cannot make it mandatory.

I would suggest you to do transactions with your genuine account.Or buy accounts from any pro seller here.As they know how to back you up,when things go wrong.

Thanks for the tip. Will try this after my free non-verified US Paypal account got limited which was tied with my Payoneer card.

Is it possible to link a Paypal account with another Paypal which had my credit card link to it? So if former Paypal account got banned, I still would have a Paypal which had my account linked to.

Its not a bank, thats why they can randomly decide to hold your money for 6 months and in the same way they aren't protected by the same fraud rules. Hence not illegal to use fake name
