Paypal account limited, but ebay account still alive?

hey all, wondering if anyone can help

my paypal account tied to my ebay power seller account got limited this morning, my funds there are held for 180 days, but my ebay account is still active

Can i start up a fresh new account and link it to the ebay account and keep on selling. I have heard its ok to do if its a brand new paypal new bank account etc. but just wanted to know if anyone had any fresh input

That sort of happened to me, although Ebay was the first to get perm limited. Wait a few days, my PayPal seemed to be unaffected, but the next day it got limited as well.

Nope. Didn't get any of the 2 accounts back unfortunately.

Hey so this happened to me 3 times now. The following are tried and true facts:

1. If your paypal account is limited for breaking paypal policy, it will not affect your ebay account.
2. If your paypal account is limited for breaking a paypal rule that is also a rule of eBay, both accounts will be limited/suspended.
3. Now if your eBay account is limited you should expect your paypal to also become limited. (It just happens that way)

I've actually seen it with some friend's where there paypal account was limited and than there ebay account got limited right after 10 days. I just think it varies. Unfortunately paypal does not care about the livelyhood of these sellers
