Today, I applied for a Payoneer card and was just wondering that if I get paid to Payoneer by Plimus and then withdraw funds from the ATM, how would the government know about this money?

Will I need to pay any tax on this income?

well.... if u dont report those earnings.... and ur govt finds out u would be in prison... as it would be tax evasion...!

but if they do... u are positive behind bars!

Mmm...they didn't take my Tax Id or anything, but they took my Passport Number. Can that cause a problem?

If there's no way government could know abt this money (through my passport number), then I am sure, that they'll not find out.

PS: The law system in India is the worst. People here, in India even get out of jail easily (even for a murder) and in most other cases there aren't even any inquires.....

if you don't wanna pay taxes why you aren't going offshore :)? ... if you still keep your money visible for your government , they will ask for taxes soon or later . thing is ... payoneer is us based company and for us peoples they with sure report the money moved thru them ...

anyway tough this is BH SEO forums , the tax advice forum is on other place , just like a short point .

I've been with drawing money Via Plimus and Paynoeer and as now I'm in india from the past 2 years I never had any problem and yeah giving passport doesn't make the government (especially Indian Government) to know abt the money earned ...so you have a tax free earnings...

No probs dude I do about 600-800$ rough in 2 months as I get the rest from Paypal...I do have a problem of transaction fee from this Plimus or paynoeer but that's negligible...at least I get to keep 99.9% of my earned money...

    Hi,

    Tomer from Payoneer here.
Please note Payoneer is a "vehicle" for you to get your money, we are not the ones who are paying you and we do not report anything, we just enable your employer to pay you with a debit card instead of sending you a check.
The employer, in your case Plimus, might report something, you should check that with them or any other partner who is paying you.

I hope I manage to help with my explanation here.

    thanks

Forgive me dragging up an old thread - but it seemed the most relevant to my query. I understand the point you made in that the employer (i.e. payoneer affiliate) most likely carrys out reporting of earnings in accordance with state laws. However, is this inclusive of any monies loaded to the card directly (now that payoneer offers this facility)? Is the payoneer affiliate aware of this aspect of funding - or only concerned exclusively with transactions made through their service/website?

Only problem is if you use the same ATMs all the time to withdraw money banks will look into it at behest of your local government tax spies.

In Europe they announced they were starting to do this a few years ago to catch offshore accounts. I guess switch up ATMs so they can't contact Payoneer and get your info

I am not sure about this, but I do know they have my SSN # so I think If you start to funnel decent money through them you should make sure. I have no money with them got it when I used to be with cpa lead .
