paying with paypal

    Hi im looking at purchasing a virtual item from someone that isnt covered my paypal, they are massively overcharging me, its some kid that had scammed me along time ago and doesnt realise its me, anyway i wanted to buy it then dispute it through paypal.

    Whats the best way to win this type of dispute? how should i send the money etc

    You won't win as the purchase/service would be for an intangible item which isn't covered under their PayPal Buyer protection policy. The only way you could win is if you paid through PayPal for it with a Credit Card and then charged it back. But, I wouldn't recommend you do this as even though he did it to you, it's still not the right thing to do.

    If you know who it is, send some big scary guys with black suits and your message to him :) I'm sure he will pay back what he owes you.

    ... Really, isn't that childish to scam him a virtuell item as revenge? Better get on with your work or make use of the law.

    Yes before you all say its wrong, it is yes, but im paying MASSIVELY over the price, its the only way he will give me what i want, so i wouldnt do the deal and prob wont unless theres a chance i could get my money back.

    Resolve your differences without dropping down to his own level.Plus he may win anyway, and you lose again.
