Hello,
I'm not from china but I need to use Alipay to pay a chinese service provider and he doesn't accept any other payment provider besides Alipay.

Now I downloaded the AliPay App but I didn't find any option to make a payment using my credit card.
It always asks for a bank card and when I try to enter my cc info it says the card is not supported.

Is it possible to pay via cc using Alipay or does this always require a chinese bank account?

YOu need a chinese bank account to use it.
Btw once u pay with alipay the money is gone... you cant make a protest or so.
so be careful

Is there any way to get a chinese bank account for me as a not chinese citizen?

of course i have also one . however u need to visit china in person and then you can open one.

Yes you can pay via your cc:

What service? It's can't be a virtual product from taobao.
Also you'll be charged 3% additional fee/expenditure.

visit some third tier village and you will be able to get away with opening on a tourist visa. shanghai/beijing/etc have become a bit stricter, asking for work permits/tax receipts and such. alternatively you can buy stolen ones but you would need to speak chinese. the sellers usually don't know english.

this option simply cannot be relied on. a lot of people's cards are outright declined. i couldn't get it to work with any foreign card and i read/write chinese. works fine with domestic chinese visas though

They should enable paypal on their site. Apply for alipay account and verify it is not easy for the foreigners.
