So I’m interested in pursuing a Pay per lead for local businesses using my own sites and SEO. Is there a way around buying a virtual office address for a GMB account or is that the only way?

Yes, I know that PO boxes don't work. I've used virtual addresses in the past and they have worked/still working. Obviously blackhat but is there some other way around this. I really don't want to pay rent on a mail box.

I've also been looking into this heavily. From what I've read, it's definitely possible but the people who know how, are not exposing this exploit. A guy from BHW tried selling me this service for $260 (they don't even show you how, $260 is the cost just for one listing lol).
Some have said that one way to get listed without address verification is by having very good citations all over the web with the same address and phone number. Not sure If it works though.

I mean if his service works sure... but I mean if I dont understand how he's doing it it's hard to just put faith in wth he's doing.

There are several ways, one way is data aggregators which takes a lot of time to wait for them to get indexed. Another way is people are becoming Google Trusted Verifier which isn't as hard as it sounds or is made out to be. Then people are also using Local Guides and changing info in maps or adding them. Another way people pay people from craigslist to use their address and pay them for the postcard. Another way people are forwarding mail. There is more ways available. Didn't think I would share? Hope this is what you were looking for.

Ya data aggregators work with you already have the address. The reason I didn't think you'd share is in the previous answers they said that ppl that know how to get an address verified without an actual address won't explain how they do it. All of these you mentioned are methods but I was talking about bypassing all of that and getting it set up without having an actual location that have any control over. There are services that provide this and I was asking how so I could know whether it's something worth doing.

So the way I think most of them are doing it is inside the dashboard, when you click reinstate the listing it's kind of tricky to find I know sometimes it wouldn't show up but there is a page that lets you verify your listing with pictures, video on hangouts with Google but I have only done it with legit businesses but imagine if they made it as easy as they did for me it would be very easy for a fake business to do so.
