I don't know if I posted this in the right area...

If I had a VMWare Server running several instances, can I install my own programs onto those instances then take a snapshot back to before I started installing; then repeat? Thanks.

i can think of a few problems with that. how much money do you usually get per install?

Actually, I haven't done anything with PPI yet, I just thought of this idea and was wondering if anyone knew anything that was potentially a show stopper for this. If you don't mind, what do you see as the major drawbacks?

PPI questions go on pay-per-install.org

Also, the hugest (of many) problems with what you've laid out here is that you'd be getting the installs all from the same IP. Which would get you immediately flagged/banned/lynched.

Thanks for the response. That's the reason why I was asking as I didn't know how these things worked. If I have any more "brainiac" ideas about PPI I'll put it on the other site.

PPI on http://www.pay-per-install.org thanks
